SA Motocross Nationals 2017 Round 4: David Goosen

We had the opportunity to catch up with David Goosen to give a little insight into his 2017 season.

David Goosen, known to be one of the more hard working guys in the mx scene . Racing bikes is his ultimate passion since it all started at the age of 3.Race days come with some serious focus but always maintaining a happy face and a positive attitude while giving his best . There has been some great highs in David’s career winning multiple championships growing up in Zimbabwe on small bikes, a further 125cc high school championship in South Africa and moving onto the UK to chase his dreams. Having some great results in some very demanding and competitive races for the next 5 years. David took the bold move to return back to South Africa in 2014, this time on his own, leaving his parents and two sisters living in the UK. While having their utmost support and care, David has started to build ‘himself” which has led him to where he is today, with his outgoing lifestyle, racing for the Tintswalo Out of Africa Yamaha Racing Team with Fox racing and Monster Energy supporting him to do what he does best, racing motocross. Working a full time job doing metal fabrication,while racing as a professional motocrosser puts him to its tests but thats what the 25 year old David is about. Always smiling, showing respect and appreciation until the gate drops, it’s all left on the line .
