Ken Sekeletu Claims Featherweight Title in Stunning Victory
EFC 121 delivered an electrifying night of fights, headlined by Zambia’s undefeated Ken ‘The Takeover’ Sekeletu, who made history by becoming Zambia’s first MMA champion. The featherweight standout dethroned South Africa’s Roedie Roets in the main event, securing the title in a dramatic first-round finish.
Roets came out aggressively, aiming to clinch and grapple, but Sekeletu’s elbows proved decisive, leaving the South African champion concussed and unable to continue. Despite claims of illegal blows, the replay showed clean strikes, confirming Sekeletu’s historic victory.

The co-main event saw Billy Oosthuizen earn a title shot with a spectacular comeback victory over Ayanda Zwane. After two rounds dominated by Zwane’s precise kickboxing, Oosthuizen turned the tide in the third, securing a rear-naked choke submission to clinch the win.
