PUMA continues to celebrate craftsmanship and timeless style with the return of its collaboration with renowned British tannery Charles F. Stead. Once again, the partnership shines a spotlight on one of PUMA’s most iconic silhouettes — the Suede.

Since its debut, the PUMA Suede has held legendary status, known for its rich textures and nostalgic colourways. Now, in collaboration with Charles F. Stead — famed for its world-class suede leathers since 1825 — the sneaker is reintroduced in one of its purest, most refined executions to date.

This second drop focuses on minimalist design with elevated details, staying true to the Suede’s heritage while giving it a fresh, premium finish. Two sophisticated colourways headline the release: “Persian Blue” and “Orange Glo.” The latter draws inspiration from the Knicks-orange edition created exclusively for the sneaker’s one-time namesake, basketball legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier Jr., whose bold style remains an influence in sneaker culture.

Crafted through Charles F. Stead’s meticulous tanning process, the suede upper embodies a soft, natural feel that distinguishes it as among the finest in the world. Each pair is completed with a special Charles F. Stead hang tag, made from the same premium material as the shoe’s upper, symbolising the brands’ commitment to authenticity and heritage.

The PUMA x Charles F. Stead Suede will be available from 1 September 2025 at PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores, Al Capone, and Shelflife, retailing at R2 699.

This release is not just a sneaker — it’s a story of craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless design.
