A week after the hometown celebration of the Seattle Seahawks, the intensity shifted to two wheels inside Lumen Field for Round 6 of the 2026 Monster Energy Supercross season. Valentine’s Day in Seattle produced one of the most demanding and action-packed races of the championship so far, with brutal track conditions pushing riders to their limits.

A memorable week at Lumen Field was capped off by a Valentine’s Day visit from Monster Energy Supercross for Round 6 of the 2026 season.

Tomac Conquers Grueling 450SMX Main Event

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Eli Tomac emerged victorious after a relentless 20 minutes plus one lap battle, claiming his third win of the season and the 56th victory of his career.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb grabbed the holeshot and controlled the early pace, with Tomac and Aaron Plessinger in pursuit. As the race unfolded on Seattle’s soft, rutted surface, Tomac steadily closed the gap before executing a decisive pass midway through the Main Event. Despite pressure from Webb in lapped traffic, Tomac stretched his advantage and crossed the line with a commanding 9.2-second margin.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb (1) led half of the Main Event and ultimately settled for a third straight podium finish.

Justin Cooper capitalized on late-race chaos to secure third, while championship leader Hunter Lawrence recovered from an incident to finish fourth. Chase Sexton completed the top five, and Ken Roczen endured a difficult night to finish tenth.

Lawrence’s recovery proved crucial in the standings, as he retained the championship lead by a single point over Tomac, with Webb and Roczen tied for third.

Deegan vs. Kitchen Produces Instant 250SMX Classic

The Western Divisional 250SMX Class delivered a spectacular head-to-head duel between rising star Haiden Deegan and hometown favorite Levi Kitchen.

After Max Anstie claimed the holeshot, Deegan surged into the lead early, only for Kitchen to charge from fifth to second and ignite a breathtaking battle. The pair traded the lead four times in the closing laps, navigating lapped riders and deteriorating track conditions in front of an electrified Seattle crowd.

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Levi Kitchen (47) battled it out with Deegan and finished a close second in from of the hometown crowd.

Deegan ultimately delivered the decisive move in the final minute, securing his fifth consecutive victory by just 1.5 seconds. Kitchen’s runner-up finish marked his third straight second place, while Anstie completed the podium.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Max Anstie made his return to the podium for the first time since he won the season opening race.

With the win, Deegan extended his championship advantage to 35 points heading into the midseason break, further cementing his dominance in the Western Division.

A Championship Season Heating Up

Seattle’s punishing conditions and dramatic racing reshaped both championship fights. Tomac’s triumph tightened the 450SMX standings, while Deegan’s continued streak strengthened his control of the 250SMX title race.

The battle for victory between Deegan and Kitchen became an instant classic as they traded for the lead on four separate occasions.

As the series heads to Dallas and the Eastern Division prepares to begin, momentum, resilience, and precision will define the next chapter of the 2026 Monster Energy Supercross season.
