The 2026 Diamonds & Dorings Kimberley Diamond Cup GrandSlam is set to launch in spectacular fashion, with the first stop taking place at Thaba Nchu Skatepark near Bloemfontein on Saturday, 6 June 2026.
Skateboarders from across South Africa are gearing up for the season opener, where a massive R100,000 cash prize purse will be up for grabs. Each stop on the GrandSlam tour offers competitors the chance to showcase their skills and compete for their share of the prize money.
The event will feature competition across four official categories: Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Under-16 Boys, and Under-16 Girls, providing opportunities for both established riders and rising young talent to shine.
With registrations now open and limited spots available, organisers are encouraging skaters to secure their entries as soon as possible. Excitement is building ahead of what promises to be an action-packed start to the Kimberley Diamond Cup season, as riders prepare to battle it out for podium positions and valuable championship points.
The countdown is on, and all eyes are now on Thaba Nchu as the road to the 2026 Kimberley Diamond Cup GrandSlam officially begins.
