That Winter Fest 2026 Returns Bigger Than Ever with Massive Lineup and First-Ever Skate Competition
Johannesburg’s alternative music scene is set to ignite this winter as That Winter Fest 2026 returns for its fourth edition, bringing together one of its biggest and most diverse lineups yet. Presented by Boogy Central and Sognage, the festival promises an unforgettable day of live music, skateboarding and underground culture on Saturday, 11 July 2026.
Hosted at Sognage, 304 Tungsten Road, Strydom Park, Johannesburg, the festival will transform one of the coldest weekends of the year into a celebration of loud guitars, energetic crowds and homegrown talent.
Biggest Lineup Yet
This year’s festival features two dedicated stages packed with some of South Africa‘s most exciting rock, punk, garage and psychedelic acts.

Main Stage
Punk Stage
Festival organisers have curated a lineup that showcases the depth of South Africa‘s alternative music scene, blending established favourites with rising underground artists across multiple genres.
More Than Just Music
That Winter Fest 2026 promises an immersive festival experience beyond the performances.
Attendees can expect premium stage production, mesmerising visuals, high-energy performances and an atmosphere dedicated to celebrating local creativity. Food vendors, licensed bar facilities, band merchandise and both indoor performance spaces and an outdoor chill area will ensure festivalgoers have plenty to enjoy throughout the day.
First-Ever Skate Competition

One of the biggest additions to the festival is the introduction of That Winter Fest’s first-ever skate competition.
To celebrate the event’s fourth anniversary, organisers are constructing a mini ramp at Sognage, creating a brand-new attraction that combines live music with skate culture.
The competition has been made possible with support from Monster Energy and Boogy Central, adding another exciting dimension to the festival.

Fans will also be treated to a special skateboarding demonstration by Marci Rodrigues, whose appearance is expected to be one of the day’s standout moments.
