December 12 @ 10:00 am – December 13 @ 12:00 am
Mahikeng is gearing up for a full day of tyre smoke, spinning performances as Maftown Spin Fest 2026 takes over the Mmabatho Stadium parking lot on 12 December. With more than 40 names announced across the spinning lineups, the festival promises a meeting point for motoring enthusiasts, music lovers and communities drawn to South Africa‘s vibrant car culture.
Presented by King Kruger, the event is scheduled to open its gates at 10:00, with festivities running into the evening. From high-energy spinning displays to a packed programme of DJs, Maftown Spin Fest is positioning itself as a major December gathering for the North West entertainment scene.
More Than Tyre Smoke: A Celebration of Spinning Culture
At Maftown Spin Fest, that culture will take centre stage through a lineup featuring individual spinners and established teams. Sam Sam, Muzi, Omunye, Laeeq Newman, Wafeeq Oliver, Sthwathwa, Team BGB, Team Saluki, Lockdiff and Jarryd Jaros are among the names announced.
The programme also features Team Swazi, Team Africa, Team Tish, Team Fearless and Team Panjaro, alongside performers including Riqzo, ShayShay CPT, Mikhaela, Jay F, Kano, Prince Ndaba and King Joe.
Special guest Zain Hussen Drifter adds another attraction to a programme built around the skill, spectacle and personalities of the spinning scene.
Music Meets Motoring at Mmabatho Stadium
The event extends beyond the cars, with music forming a major part of the festival experience.
Announced headliners include Da Muziqal Chef, DJ Skroef28, Mafia Natives, DJ Shima, Ezi B, Channing, Remo, Soulful Appolos, Amo, Junior Hooks, Uncle Jordy, Canvass Sativa, D&B Musiq, DJ Voltage and JustCallMeTeezy.
Tickets, Prices and What Attendees Need to Know
Maftown Spin Fest 2026 takes place on Saturday, 12 December 2026, at the Mmabatho Stadium parking lot in Mahikeng.
According to the event poster, adult tickets are priced as follows:
For children under 12, tickets are listed at R80 during Pre-sale Phase 1, R120 during Phase 2 and R150 at the gate. This means the advertised starting price of R80 applies to children under 12, rather than standard adult admission.
A cooler box is listed at R100, and the event poster states that glass bottles are not allowed. Tickets are avaiable at Computicket.
With gates opening at 10:00 and the programme expected to continue until midnight, attendees should plan for a full day of entertainment and check the official ticketing information for availability and any updated event conditions before travelling.
A December Date for the Spinning Community
Maftown Spin Fest 2026 brings together the ingredients that make spinning events distinctive: cars, drivers, teams, music and a crowd that understands the culture behind the spectacle.
Its extensive announced lineup gives fans plenty of names to follow, while the combination of motoring performances and live entertainment opens the experience to audiences beyond the spinning community itself.
The real draw will be how those elements come together on the day, from the drivers’ performances to the music and the atmosphere around the arena.
On 12 December, Mahikeng gets a festival built around the people, machines and sounds that keep South Africa’s spinning culture moving. For fans planning their December calendar, Maftown Spin Fest is one to keep on the radar.
