Johannesburg is about to shut down for the rawest street comp of the year. Go Skate Day JHB 2025 is back — bigger, grittier, and more chaotic than ever. On Saturday, 21 June, skaters from across the city will charge through the concrete arteries of Jozi in a three-spot skate competition starting in Braamfontein and ending in the heart of the CBD.
Cash prizes and hard goods are up for grabs at every stop. No entry fee, no fancy rules — just register, show up, and go hard. The 1.7km route is mostly downhill and not for the faint of heart. Brakes? Not today. Hydrate, layer up, and leave your excuses at home.

Once the dust settles and the decks are scraped, the real madness begins. From 4PM, the official Go Skate Day JHB 2025 After-Party kicks off at Grind House in the CBD. This isn’t some clean-cut mixer — it’s a full-on underground celebration of skate culture, sound, and street art.
