Kimberley … It’s Time! KDC Grandslam Heads to the Diamond City
The countdown is on as the Kimberley Diamond Cup (KDC) Grandslam gears up for its next stop at the iconic Kimberley Skate Plaza on Saturday, 30 August 2025, from 8am. Following the explosive energy in Durban—where the competition brought the heat and Manzi Water kept the crowds and skaters cool—Kimberley promises another thrilling chapter in South Africa’s premier skateboarding series.
With six stops in total and R100,000 up for grabs at each one, the KDC Grandslams are more than just competitions—they’re proving grounds for the nation’s best talent. Each stop not only crowns a champion but also sets the stage for the Apex Finals, where the ultimate title of Kimberley Diamond Cup Champion and even bigger prize money await.
Durban’s winners have already secured their spots, but the Kimberley stop offers skaters another chance to qualify and chase skateboarding glory. With limited registration spots available, skaters are urged to secure their place as soon as possible.
