November 23 – December 8
The world’s most daring kiteboarders will once again descend upon Cape Town for the 12th edition of Red Bull King of the Air. This premier Big Air kiteboarding competition has become a fixture in the extreme sports calendar, drawing elite athletes and thousands of spectators to Kite Beach in Table View.
Last year, the event will made history with the introduction of an official Women’s Division for the first time ever, marking a significant milestone in the sport’s evolution.
The Playground: Kite Beach, Table View
Renowned as the Capetonian Mecca of Kitesurfing, Kite Beach provides the perfect conditions for Big Air kiteboarding. The strong Summer Southeasterly winds—known as the Cape Doctor—alongside the Westerly swell, create ideal ramps for competitors to launch into the air.

History in the Making: Women’s Division Debuts
For the second time in the event’s history, Red Bull King of the Air will feature an official Women’s Division, giving the world’s top female kiteboarders the stage to showcase their skills.
