SUMMARY:Red Bull Hardline BC Set for Historic Canadian Debut
DESCRIPTION:The legendary Red Bull Hardline is heading to Canada for the very first time\, with Red Bull Hardline British Columbia officially scheduled for 17 October 2026. Set against the breathtaking terrain of Cypress Mountain\, the event marks a bold new chapter for what is widely regarded as the toughest downhill mountain biking race on the planet. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA New Frontier for the Toughest MTB Event \n\n\n\nSince its creation by Dan Atherton in 2014 in Wales\, Red Bull Hardline has redefined the limits of downhill riding. Known for combining elite racing speed with freeride-style creativity\, the event has become the ultimate proving ground for the world’s best riders. \n\n\n\nNow\, the rugged landscapes of British Columbia—particularly Vancouver’s North Shore\, often considered the birthplace of freeride MTB—will host this iconic competition. Riders can expect steep descents\, massive jumps\, technical rock gardens\, and drops exceeding 10 meters\, all set against a dramatic coastal mountain backdrop. \n\n\n\nGracey Hemstreet performs during seeding run at Red Bull Hardline at Maydena Bike Park in Maydena\, Australia on February 7\, 2026. Photo By Graeme Murray for Red Bull Content Pool\n\n\n\nDesigned by Legends \n\n\n\nThe BC course is being designed by Dan Atherton alongside his brother Gee Atherton\, ensuring the signature Hardline intensity carries over into this new environment. Built in collaboration with expert trail builders and local riders\, the track promises a perfect blend of technical downhill racing and freeride innovation. \n\n\n\nDan Atherton highlighted the challenge of finding the perfect location\, noting that British Columbia’s iconic features—huge rock slabs\, towering trees\, and rich dirt—set an incredibly high standard. After two years of searching\, Cypress Mountain emerged as the ideal venue. \n\n\n\nJackson Goldstone performs during practice at Red Bull Hardline in Maydena Bike Park\, Australia on February 05\, 2026. Photo By Brett Hemmings for Red Bull Content Pool\n\n\n\nRiders Ready for the Challenge \n\n\n\nCanadian stars are especially excited about the event’s arrival on home soil. Gracey Hemstreet admitted the course is both intimidating and thrilling\, predicting it could be the best edition yet\, with massive crowds expected. \n\n\n\nFor Jackson Goldstone\, the event represents a full-circle moment. Competing in one of the world’s most prestigious MTB events in his hometown is a milestone not just for him\, but for Canadian mountain biking as a whole. \n\n\n\nDan Atherton performs at Red Bull Hardline in Wales\, UK on September 24\, 2017 Photo By Nathan Hughes for Red Bull Content Pool\n\n\n\nA Global Spectacle \n\n\n\nRed Bull Hardline BC will feature a select lineup of elite downhill and freeride athletes from around the world\, each invited to tackle one of the most demanding courses ever built. The combination of British Columbia’s natural terrain and the event’s relentless design promises a spectacle unlike any other. \n\n\n\nFans worldwide will be able to catch all the action live below. \n\n\n\nHannah Bergemann seen at the Red Bull Hardline in Dinas Mawddwy\, Wales on 24.07.2025. Photo By Dan Griffiths for Red Bull Content Pool\n\n\n\nLooking Ahead \n\n\n\nWhile Canada hosts this groundbreaking debut in 2026\, the original Welsh event will return in 2027 with an entirely new track\, continuing Red Bull Hardline’s legacy of progression and innovation. \n\n\n\nWith its expansion to North America\, Red Bull Hardline British Columbia is set to deliver one of the most spectacular and challenging editions in the event’s history—cementing its place at the pinnacle of downhill mountain biking.

SUMMARY:Red Bull Hardline 2024 UK
DESCRIPTION:Red Bull Hardline isn’t for the faint-hearted. Hailed as one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world\, the course is designed by MTB track pioneer Dan Atherton and tests both skill and nerve. \nThe gruelling track brings together the world’s best and bravest riders\, putting them through their paces in a challenging succession of mammoth jumps\, boulder drops\, technical puzzles and unrelenting weather. Hard by name\, hard by nature. \nAnd for the first time ever\, Red Bull Hardline will also be taking place in Australia\, at Maydena Bike Park\, Tasmania\, on February 23-24\, 2024. \nRed Bull Hardline 2024 will continue to promote equality of opportunity in downhill MTB. \nBack in July 2023\, one of downhill mountain biking’s most exciting talent Tahnee Seagrave led efforts to empower women on the Red Bull Hardline course. “Red Bull Hardline is the most difficult mountain bike race in the world\,” she explains. \n“We’ve seen so much progress by enabling female athletes to ride. We are approaching it in the right way\, working towards supporting the progression at an attainable speed so that more girls can eventually get to tackle the course.”

SUMMARY:UCI Mountain Bike World Cup 2023 - Snowshoe
DESCRIPTION:Join leading UCI Mountain Bike World Cup elite riders on the start line at the Marathon of Snowshoe this September. \nFor the first time in Snowshoe\, Cross-country Marathon will join the UCI World Cup\, plus amateurs will have the change to compete in the Marathon of Snowshoe.  \nAmateur entries for Marathon of Snowshoe are now open! Click “here‘ to find out more. \nNowhere is West Virginia’s tagline of “Almost Heaven” more fitting than at Snowshoe Mountain. Nestled in a remote corner of Pocahontas County\, high in the Allegheny Mountains\, Snowshoe is the epicenter of the Mid-Atlantic’s mountain bike culture\, and the host of several of the most memorable races in recent World Cup history. With a picturesque mountaintop village\, a lift-serviced bike park\, pristine backcountry trail riding\, and a fast growing regional trail network\, “The Shoe” is quickly becoming an East Coast Mecca for mountain bikers.  \nThe mountain’s cycling history dates back to the mid-1980’s\, barely a decade after the resort was established as the region’s premier ski area. By the 1990’s\, NORBA events were being held on the mountain\, and by the early 2000’s Snowshoe was offering lift-access to its steep and rowdy trail system that had been cut by hand. The mountain became somewhat infamous for its technical rocks and roots\, earning it a reputation as a “hard core” rider’s mountain. \nIn recent years\, Snowshoe has added plenty of fun and flowy trails to help introduce new riders to the sport and now boasts trails for every ability level. Today\, Snowshoe is now a staple of the World Cup circuit and home to one of the East Coast’s only Silver level IMBA Ride Centers. A trip to “The Shoe” is a must for any mountain biker’s bucket list. \n29/09/2023 \n\n\n\n15:30 – 16:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Qualification – Women\nDHI\n\n\n16:00 – 17:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Qualification – Men\nDHI\n\n\n\n  \n30/09/2023 \n\n\n\n11:00 – 11:30\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Semi Final – Women\nDHI\n\n\n11:30 – 12:30\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Semi Final – Men\nDHI\n\n\n13:00 – 14:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Final – Women\nDHI\n\n\n14:00 – 15:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Final – Men\nDHI

SUMMARY:UCI Mountain Bike World Championships 2023 – Fort William
DESCRIPTION:It’s all downhill in Fort William where riders take on jumps\, bumps\, berms and rock gardens against the clock at white-knuckle speeds of up to 80km/h. \nThe most fearless will bomb their runs. Others will bail. Only the fastest will win the Rainbow Jersey. \n\n\n\n\n\nHOW IT WORKS\n\n\n\nThe course at Fort William is one of the most mentally and technically challenging there is. \nStretching to 2.8 km long\, it drops 550m and every single rock on the way down could potentially end a rider’s run… and there are a lot of rocks. \nRiders need to be strong\, fit and fearless just to make it through the qualifying rounds. For the finals\, the drama keeps rising as they make their way down in reverse order of qualifying quickness and fractions of a second determine their fates. \nYou definitely don’t want to miss the legendary Fort William finish\, where a huge crowd waits to welcome each and every rider that masters the mountain. \n

The 2022 UCI MTB World Cup was the first Carbon Neutral event hosted in Val di Sole\, thanks to their collaboration with Climate Partner on compensation projects. \n“Experience the thrill and enjoy the show of the World’s best on the challenging course of Val di Sole and explore the stunning landscapes of the Italian Alps all while enjoying the best services on two wheels. Despite her success on the international stage\, Swiss downhill rider Camille Balanche has never won a UCI Mountain Bike World Cup race on home soil and she is expected to bring her A-game to this event. \nLenzerheide has become a mainstay of the UCI World Cup series over the years and for race fans offers a super fast start to the downhill season as the racers rocket down through Bike Kingdom’s toughest tests. As the opening round of the downhill season\, it will be eagerly awaited as the first opportunity to see who is fully up to speed and who has work to do. \nIn addition to the main event\, there are also a variety of side events to enjoy. These include live music concerts and parties\, as well as a bike testing site. For the kids\, there will be a series of fun bike challenges and activities\, helping to introduce them to the sport of mountain biking. \n09/06/2023 \n\n\n\n15:30 – 16:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Qualification – Women\nDHI\n\n\n16:00 – 16:45\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Qualification – Men\nDHI\n\n\n\n  \n10/06/2023 \n\n\n\n10:45 – 11:20\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Semi Final – Women\nDHI\n\n\n11:20 – 13:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Semi Final – Men\nDHI\n\n\n13:00 – 14:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Final – Women\nDHI\n\n\n14:00 – 15:00\nRACE: UCI Downhill World Cup – Final – Men\nDHI
