SUMMARY:SA MX Round 3 Heads to Cape Town’s Zone 7
DESCRIPTION:SA National MX Championship Round 3 Takes the Fight to Cape Town \n\n\n\nThe 2026 season of the SA National Motocross Championship reaches a pivotal moment as Round 3 heads to the coast\, with Cape Town’s iconic Zone 7 MX Track set to host the next chapter in the championship battle. \n\n\n\nKnown as the “Mother City\,” Cape Town offers a completely different test compared to the inland rounds. Riders will swap tight valleys and technical terrain for wide-open spaces\, deep sand\, and relentless Atlantic winds — conditions that demand both physical endurance and technical precision. \n\n\n\nThe Mid-Season Turning Point \n\n\n\nRound 3 represents more than just another race on the calendar — it’s the mid-season pivot where championship hopes can either strengthen or begin to slip away. \n\n\n\nThe sandy layout of Zone 7 is notorious for its demanding nature. Riders must maintain momentum\, choose the right lines\, and manage fatigue as the shifting surface constantly evolves throughout the day. It’s a track where strength\, stamina\, and strategy play an equally important role as outright speed. \n\n\n\nWith the title race heating up after two intense rounds\, every point earned in Cape Town could prove crucial in the fight for the coveted #1 plate. \n\n\n\nA New Challenge Awaits \n\n\n\nThe transition to coastal racing brings fresh challenges for competitors across all classes. The softer terrain will test bike setup\, throttle control\, and rider fitness like never before this season. \n\n\n\nFor spectators\, it promises a thrilling spectacle — high-speed action\, dramatic overtakes\, and unpredictable racing as South Africa’s top motocross talent adapts to a completely different racing environment. \n\n\n\nWhether it’s the seasoned professionals battling at the front or the rising stars making their mark in the junior ranks\, Round 3 is expected to deliver another full day of world-class motocross. \n\n\n\nEvent Details \n\n\n\n🕙 Racing Starts: 10:00 AM \n\n\n\nSpectator Tickets (Available at the Gate) \n\n\n\n🎟️ Adults: R100🎟️ Kids: R80👶 Under 6: FREE \n\n\n\nFans are encouraged to pack sunscreen\, gather family and friends\, and head to the track for a memorable day of motorsport action in the Cape. \n\n\n\nProudly Fuelled By \n\n\n\nTRP Distributors | Venture Sports SA | BAR Cargo | Missing Second Technologies | Bandit Graffix / Racestar | MotoKustoms Graphics | Bikewise | Prepsol \n\n\n\nSupported By \n\n\n\nRed Bull \n\n\n\nAs the championship caravan makes the long journey to Cape Town\, Round 3 at Zone 7 is shaping up to be a defining moment in the 2026 season. New lines\, new challenges\, and a completely different atmosphere await — and for those wanting to witness the title fight reach boiling point\, the fence line in the Mother City is the place to be.
