A New Era for Slopestyle at Crankworx Rotorua 2025
As the first stop of the Crankworx FMB Slopestyle World Championship (SWC), Crankworx Rotorua 2025 introduces a fresh qualification format. Sixteen men and eight women will throw down two runs, with the top 10 men and top five women advancing to the finals in a thrilling showdown.
The new wave of Slopestyle athletes is ready to shake up the rankings. With past champions David Godziek and Emil Johansson out due to injury, Swiss rider Lucas Huppert, French trick master Tim Bringer, and American rising star Kaiden Ingersoll are all vying for their place at the top.
On the women’s side, New Zealand’s Robin Goomes makes her highly anticipated return after an injury-shortened 2024 season. She’ll face fierce competition from American Natasha Miller and German prodigy Patricia Druwen, both of whom have been refining their skills for this moment.
Crankworx Rotorua is more than a competition; it’s an immersive festival celebrating mountain biking culture. Fans can catch all the action live or experience the electric atmosphere firsthand at Skyline Rotorua from March 5-9, 2025.
