The weirdest formation Tony’s have ever raced. Reverse formation for one, that’s okay. Fastest right at the back and slowest right in front. Understandable. Though…..
The slowest car gets a time advantage over 2nd on grid and so does he over 3rd on grid and so it goes down the pecking order as you will see, the first person let off the line passes me before I even take off. So that put us at the back of the race at a heavy disadvantage with only having 6 laps to chase down and over take as many as possible.
The civic had a lot of difficulty the whole day and the race before this the car would not turn right, so Tony had to nurse the car all the way around 6 laps without being able to gas it in the right handers properly that’s why he started 20th out of 23 cars on the grid. The cars camber bolts came loose and therefore it was always self adjusting camber on the fly as he turned right.
