The Monster Energy Backyard Battle series is back and better than ever in 2024, bringing together the world’s top freeride athletes for a series of epic showdowns in some of the most iconic backyard locations across Europe. The Backyard Battle series aims to pay homage to the classic backyard jams that were the foundation of freeride mountain biking in its early days. By bringing together both seasoned pros and up-and-coming rippers, the series creates a unique and relaxed atmosphere for riders to push their creativity and skills to the next level.

The 2024 Hosts and Event Dates
- Vero Sandler & Sam Hodgson Edition – Wales, 3-7 June
- The series kicks off in Wales with a brand-new course designed by Vero Sandler and Sam Hodgson, featuring multiple lines and a star-studded lineup of riders.
- Daniel & Elias Ruso Edition – Austria, 25-28 June
- Austria plays host to the second stop of the series, with Daniel and Elias Ruso set to unveil a challenging course that will push riders to their limits.
- Paul Couderc Edition – France, 11-14 July
- The series then heads to France, where Paul Couderc will showcase his unique style on a course that promises to be both technical and creative.
- Lukas Schafer’s Black Mass Edition – Germany, 20-24 August
- Germany welcomes the Backyard Battle series with Lukas Schafer‘s Black Mass Edition, featuring a course that will test even the most skilled riders.
