At the AMA Pro National held at Budds Creek, motocross racer Tristan Purdon took fans behind the scenes in his latest vlog, offering a candid look at the ups and downs of racing at one of the sport’s iconic tracks.

Purdon started the weekend with a mix of excitement and uncertainty, reflecting on a rough previous race where he wasn’t at his best. Despite the challenges, including rainy conditions and a muddy track, the South African rider was determined to put on a strong performance. With his team in good spirits and support from friends and family, Purdon was ready to take on Budds Creek.

The day began with some hiccups, including a challenging first qualifying session where he struggled to keep pace with teammate Charlie. However, Purdon’s resilience shone through, and he managed to push himself into the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). In typical motocross fashion, the day was filled with intense racing and moments of self-doubt, but Purdon remained focused.

The first moto saw Purdon earn a valuable point, a small but significant victory given the tough conditions and his earlier struggles. He credited his determination and the presence of his wife and supporters for helping him push through. Despite feeling exhausted and hitting a wall during the second moto, Purdon remained positive about his performance.

Looking ahead, Purdon expressed optimism for the next weekend, with more family and friends expected to join him. As he wrapped up the vlog, his gratitude to his team and supporters was clear, highlighting the community that rallies behind motocross racers during the highs and lows of competition.

With Budds Creek behind him, Tristan Purdon is looking forward to a better showing in the upcoming races, fueled by the lessons learned and the unwavering support of his loved ones.
