THE RIDERS AGREE: “THIS IS THE BEST SWATCH NINES SETUP EVER!”

2 Mins read

Get an eyeful of this year’s flowy, progressive Nines course at Schilthorn.

Swatch Nines Snow 2025 is officially underway at Schilthorn, Switzerland—and the verdict is in. From the first run on Monday, 7 April, the world’s top skiers and snowboarders have been singing the same tune: this is the best Swatch Nines Snow setup yet.

An elite crew of riders from across the globe has gathered for a weeklong jam session on a next-level course that’s more than just snow and steel—it’s a playground built with progression in mind. Designed with extensive input from the athletes themselves, this year’s course is a true reflection of creativity and flow, packed with rails, hips, jumps, and endless lines.

“Everyone is telling me that this is the best Nines setup we’ve ever built. We let the riders take control of the design process more than ever before, and it was the best decision we could have made. The stage is set for an incredible week here at Schilthorn!”

said Swatch Nines founder Nico Zacek

What the Riders Are Saying

“When I came around the corner and saw the setup, I was speechless… it looked just like the insane drawings they released. Everything flows so nicely—it’s a really playful park.”

Cool Wakushima (SNB, NZL):

“It’s super fun. Creative, playful, and big. Everything you want at Nines. Massive but chill once you get into it. The first hour of skiing was a dream.”

Alex Hackel (SKI, USA):

“So big, so creative. Today was supposed to be a warm-up, but it turned into one of the sickest days ever. We’re just getting started.”

Luca Harrington (SKI, NZL):

Nonstop Action from Day One

What was supposed to be an easy warm-up quickly turned into a day full of triple and quad corks, as riders like Lyon Farrell (SNB, NZL) and Gian Andri Bolinger (SKI, SUI) went all in on the pristine setup. The sheer versatility and playfulness of the course pushed everyone to ride at their highest level—right from the get-go.
