Chase Sexton Returns to the Top at Philadelphia Supercross, Cole Davies Dominates 250SX Class East/West Showdown

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing‘s Chase Sexton stormed back to the top in Round 13 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, winning the Philadelphia Supercross at Lincoln Financial Field. After tangling in the first turn, Sexton fought his way from the back to clinch a crucial win that tightens the championship standings with just four rounds remaining.

First place 450SX Class

Sexton’s flawless ride — fastest in both qualifiers, heat race win, and a Main Event victory — puts him only 12 points behind championship leader Cooper Webb of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. Webb, who also overcame the chaotic start, matched Sexton lap-for-lap but ultimately finished second. Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki’s Ken Roczen, riding through ankle and shoulder injuries, took the holeshot and held strong for an inspiring third-place finish.

“It’s time to make or break. Today was a good step in the right direction. I felt great all day, and that’s how you do it: one, one, one, one.”

Sexton said after his victory

Webb remained confident:

“We’ll come back next weekend and kick his ass, though. I’m ready for the fight, I’ll be there at the end no matter what.”
