Riders Announced as Swatch Nines Surf Flows Back into Waco with Waves, Wheels, and Creative Vibes, June 23-25

2 Mins read

Surfing, skateboarding, and BMX come together in a rider-designed dreamscape where 35 innovative athletes will push boundaries and redefine creativity in action sports.

Swatch Nines Surf is back for round two. From June 23–25, the creative action-sports collective will return to Waco Surf, Texas, transforming the wave pool into a playground for progression—this time, with an even bigger twist.

For nearly two decades, Swatch Nines has carved out a unique place in the world of action sports. With 17 years of innovative events across snow, skate, and surf, the concept is simple but powerful: bring together elite athletes, visionary designers, and partners to create a space that’s not about competing—it’s about pushing boundaries, capturing magic, and having fun.

This summer’s Swatch Nines Surf expands on the 2024 debut by bringing surfing, skateboarding, and BMX into one immersive, multi-sport experience. Set over three days in a never-before-seen custom setup, 35 invited riders will descend on Waco for a session designed entirely by riders, for riders.

“There’s nothing else like Swatch Nines. It’s rare to be at an event where the only goal is to get creative, experiment, surf and skate with your friends. We dreamed up some incredible new concepts this summer, which I can’t wait to see all of these riders get creative with.”

said Noah Beschen

Earlier this year, the Nines team gathered a group of surfers, skaters, and bikers in Encinitas, California, to dream up the ultimate playground. That workshop became the blueprint for this year’s setup—designed collaboratively by the athletes themselves, with no limits.

“Seeing everything come to life is the best part, and seeing everyone’s genuine joy in their eyes, like when they were playing with the extra ball, the dock for runoffs into a barrel, into an air section. Not having the competition is phenomenal for most of the surfers here. You get to see everyone’s character shine.”

said Coco Ho

The venue and new features will debut on the Nines’ Instagram the week of 16th June, days before the surfers touch down in Waco.

This year’s confirmed lineup features an eclectic mix of talent from around the globe, including:

SURFERS:

Zoë McDougall, Coco Ho, Milla Coco Brown, Macy Callaghan, Juliette Lacome, Dimity Stoyle, Mason Ho, Balaram Stack, Noah Beschen, Matt Meola, Jacob Szekely, Blair Conklin, Chippa Wilson, Dylan Graves, Josh Sleigh, Lyon Farrell

SKATEBOARDERS:

Andy Anderson, Val LaForge, Gustavo Ribeiro, Gabriel Ribeiro, Greyson Fletcher, Clay Kreiner

BIKERS:

Sam Pilgrim, Kevin Peraza, Matthias Dandois, Erik Fedko, Dennis Enarson

And more to be announced.

Whether you’re in the lineup or following from afar, Swatch Nines Surf promises boundary-breaking sessions, epic edits, and a look into the creative future of surf and action sports.
