“It’s been a minute since I’ve whipped this camera out,”.
says Tony as he kicks off Part 1 of an exciting new build series on the video
This time, it’s all about turning his old B-series Honda Civic into a track-ready, K24-powered monster—with the style and stealth of a street car.
Filmed at the legendary Real Pro Auto (the home of Honda builds), this episode gives viewers a raw and relatable look at the early stages of the swap. With Skunk2 parts in hand, Tony and Chase introduce us to the workshop squad, including Uncle Rodney and Josh, while cracking jokes about “Special K” and “All Bran flakes” for performance fuel.
The Civic is currently gutted—no engine, no steering rack, no headlights—and is being prepped for a full bay respray and bodywork. Plans include:
- Swapping out the power steering for a manual rack
- Closing unnecessary vents
- Flared arches for a wider track
- New skirts and blacked-out trims
- Fresh black mirrors and a mystery sparkle paint job (hint: think pink!)
Under the hood, the team is building a hybrid K-series setup: a K24 bottom end with a K20 intake cam for higher revs and better breathing. But there’s been some drama—Tony got scammed on a gearbox, delaying the build and forcing a missed race weekend. Luckily, the money came back, and spirits are high again.
By the end of the video, the vision is clear: build a street-class race car that looks like a road car but goes like hell on the track.
Stay tuned for Part 2, where the transformation continues with paint, power, and plenty more chaos.
