The sixth round of the 2025 South African National Motocross Championship took over the BORC track in Bloemfontein this past weekend, delivering a high-octane showcase of speed, skill, and resilience. Despite chilly winds and brisk early morning temperatures, the Red Bull KTM team lit up the track with thrilling performances that kept spectators fully engaged from gate drop to checkered flag.

πŸ”₯ Durow Delivers Dominance

Cameron Durow was the undisputed star of the day. He put on a masterclass, storming to a double moto victory in MX2 and clinching the overall in MX1 with a 2-1 finish.

β€œHad a really great day. Went fastest in both qualifying laps. The boys behind were keeping a really good pace and keeping me honest the whole moto. Looking forward to the penultimate round in Richards Bay.”

πŸš€ Cox Controls the High School Class

Trey Cox once again showed his championship potential by grabbing two moto wins in the 125cc High School class, tightening his grip on the championship lead. He also earned a solid 3rd place overall in MX2.

β€œPretty much a perfect day on my 125. We’ve found a really good setup on my 250 and I feel so much more comfortable on it.”

said Cox

Luke Grundy had to dig deep in MX2, settling for 4th overall in a tough outing.

β€œTwo really good starts gave me very good track position but I just couldn’t bring it all to the table this round. I hate not winning, and I’m more hungry than ever!”

πŸ† Red Bull KTM Leads into Round 7

With three rounds remaining, Red Bull KTM riders are leading in all major classes: Durow in MX1, Grundy in MX2, and Cox in MX High School.

β€œThis round had a mix of highs and lessons, but everyone walked away with solid points and showed incredible grit.”
