In a recent Instagram post, Peraza confirmed he won’t be attending this year’s Ultimate X “Cape Escape” bowl and dirt event, saying:
“Won’t be making it to this year’s Ultimate X ‘Cape Escape’ bowl & dirt event. But hope everyone that makes it out that way has a great time as always!!!”
His absence leaves the coveted number one spot wide open, setting up one of the most unpredictable contests yet.
Leading the charge is a world-class lineup including Jaie Toohey, Jude Jones, Alec Danelutti, Brady Baker, Tom van den Bogaard, and Vinny Leygonie—the only South African rider representing home soil.
