1 Mins read

The Kimberley GrandSlam has officially been rescheduled to 15 August 2026, with organisers confirming that the extra time will help deliver a bigger and more exciting event for athletes and fans.

Adding to the excitement, the 2026 Kimberley GrandSlam has been named an official qualifying event for the global KARDO competition in Russia. The overall winner will earn the opportunity to travel to Russia and represent South Africa on the international stage.

Organisers have also announced the addition of two brand-new disciplines to this year’s programme, expanding the competition and creating more opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills.

While apologising for any inconvenience caused by the date change, the organisers assured competitors that the wait will be worthwhile, promising a bigger, better and more extreme Kimberley GrandSlam than ever before. Athletes are encouraged to prepare their best performances as they compete for a chance to qualify for the prestigious global KARDO finals.
