This Thursday one of the greatest combat athletes raised on African soil will defend his belt, possibly for the very last time against his most dangerous challenger yet!
Igeu Kabesa a 17-fight veteran of the EFC and the promotion’s most dominant champion must face Mpumalanga’s marauding mauler, Vince Bembe, who has knocked-out and submitted the top echelon of the 145lb division to earn a crack at the featherweight goat at EFC 104’s main event at the EFC Performance Institute in Johannesburg. In one of the most stacked cards this year, striking sensation Cole ‘The Hitman’ Henning will battle Toti terror Tapiwa Katikati who has finished all of his opponents in the Hexagon but must now steel himself for a standup duel with one of the most powerful pressure-brawlers in the game.
Furthermore, the unpredictable submission wizard Roevan de Beer must duel with leg-locking head-hunter Bheki Ngcobo after Cape Town’s matador on the mats, Adrian Sanchez, must weather the bull-rushing storm of Congo’s titanium-chinned Glody Kanzeko. The stellar main-card is opened by Olympic wrestler Elbert Steyn who will meet Durban’s knock-out artist Nkosi Doyisa, and this is all after seven action-packed undercard bouts representing the greatest talent in African combat sports today.
EFC 104 Kabesa versus Bembe is presented by World Sports Betting and takes place on Thursday, 15 June 2023, live from the EFC Performance Institute in JHB, South Africa.
