Adama Diop Crowned Heavyweight Champion as EFC 132 Delivers a Night of Finishes
EFC 132 delivered a spectacular night of action as Senegal’s Adama Diop stopped Matunga Djikasa to become the new EFC Heavyweight Champion.
Following an intense build-up, the main event exploded into life with both heavyweights pushing the pace early. Diop’s power and pressure ultimately proved decisive, forcing a second-round TKO stoppage at 3:29 to claim the title in emphatic fashion.
The drama didn’t end there. Rising contender Terrence Born entered the Hexagon immediately after the fight to face off with Diop, hinting at a potential blockbuster heavyweight clash in the near future.
What made the night even more remarkable was the fact that every single fight ended inside the distance, with no bout going to the judges. From knockouts to submissions, the card showcased decisive finishes across all divisions, cementing EFC 132 as one of the promotion’s most action-packed events.
Elsewhere, attention quickly shifted to EFC 133, where welterweight champion Zaakir Badat faced off with former champion Ziko Makengele, officially confirming their highly anticipated title bout set for May 7 in Johannesburg.
