The 2023 FIA World Rallycross Championship campaign will resume at Killarney International Raceway for the first time since Lydden Hill back in July, as international rallycross’ top flight returns to the ‘Rainbow Nation’ following a four-year absence.

With four rounds to go to decide the destiny of the drivers’ crown, every point will be crucial, and it is Johan Kristoffersson – twice a winner already in Cape Town – holding the advantage heading to South Africa.

The championship-leading Swede will be joined by Volkswagen Dealerteam BAUHAUS stablemate Ole Christian Veiby as well as Hansen brothers Timmy and Kevin – the former having won the world championship for the first time in South Africa back in 2019.

CE Dealer Team by Volvo Construction Equipment will field a pair of cars for Niclas GrönholmWorld RX’s most recent winner at Killarney – and fast female Klara Andersson, while ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport doubles up with a pair of entries for two-time DTM champion Timo Scheider and team owner René Münnich.

All drivers will take to the track in identical ZEROID X1 machinery – marking the first time in World RX history that there has been a completely level playing field.
