In collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, Converse is celebrating the upcoming release of Warner Bros. Pictures‘ big screen holiday spectacle, Wonka, with a whimsical and playful collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories. The limited-edition collection caters to all ages and pays homage to Willy Wonka by incorporating elements of the legendary cinematic character’s world of imagination.
The Converse x Wonka collection includes two Chuck 70 colorways, a premium leather “Chocolate Swirl” and a hairy suede “Oompa Loompa.” Converse‘s classic Chuck Taylor All Star also arrives in two colorways, including a chocolate drip-toned “Swirl” as well as a Willy Wonka outfit-inspired “Corduroy.” An All Star BB Trilliant CX in gold tone-on-tone color blocking that offers eye candy for the court.
Youth footwear styles include the Chuck Taylor All Star Hi and Chuck Taylor All Star 1V, with the Chuck Taylor All Star 2V offered in infant sizing.
Metallic gold prints and co-branded Converse x Wonka details put an imaginative spin on the collection’s apparel, which includes two t-shirts, as well as a matching set of joggers and a crewneck sweater.
Accessories include a reversible bucket hat in polyester and French terry, and a Go 2 backpack. In Mzansi, the collection will go on sale from 7 December on Converse online, the Converse store in Sandton City and S&K.
