Jason Webb recently took on his first drift competition in Canada, participating in the Spec D Drift Series at Mission Raceway near Vancouver. The journey began with the meticulous task of loading and transporting 20 tires, ensuring his Mustang was ready for action. Upon arrival, Webb passed the tech inspection, albeit with some adjustments needed for future events.

In his video, Webb expresses his excitement about competing again, highlighting the thrill of prepping his car and the anticipation of hitting the track. The initial practice runs were a learning curve, as Webb adjusted to the new environment and tackled challenges such as finding the right tire grip and gear setup.

Despite some early difficulties, Webb’s persistence paid off. He managed to secure an impressive score of 93 in qualifying, placing him at the top of the leaderboard. However, the competition proved tough, and an unfortunate misfire in his lead run resulted in an early exit during the top 16.

Throughout the video, Webb acknowledges the support from his wife, friends, family, and fans, emphasizing how much their encouragement means to him. He remains optimistic, looking forward to the next event and aiming for a podium finish.

This competition marks a significant milestone for Webb, showcasing his resilience and passion for drifting.
