The highly anticipated Swatch Nines MTB Midweek Banger has arrived, and it’s all about the first laps! Riders are gearing up in the Bike Republic Zone in Austria, but the unpredictable weather has added a unique twist to the event.
“It’s funny because it was super sunny, and like blue sky, and then I could literally see the clouds just rolling in like a canal, and then, rain. I was like, sick. Dreams,”.
one rider remarked as rain began to pour, creating challenging but exciting conditions
Despite the wet terrain, the riders are ready to conquer the course. The atmosphere is buzzing with excitement as the event promises some jaw-dropping stunts, including a potential world’s first—a backflip superman on an electric mountain bike.
“That’s going to happen,”.
the rider exclaimed with confidence
Though the mud may cause some challenges, the participants are determined to make the most of this thrilling week.
“The course looks sick. A sick job has been done. Looks like they’ve done some unique stuff,”.
one rider commented, eagerly awaiting the chance to hit the track
With fingers crossed for better weather, the Swatch Nines MTB event is off to a wild start, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.
