Darkfest 2025 is back, and this year, the crew has set their sights on an ambitious new challenge—a super-technical quarterpipe, bigger and more extreme than originally planned. Built into the bank next to the step-up, this massive feature is designed to send riders soaring higher than ever before, with huge tricks and insane airtime.

In the latest build update, Sam Reynolds and Theo Erlangsen take on the intense manual labor required to finish the quarterpipe’s wooden takeoff, while Duran works the digger to perfect the landing. The crew faces multiple obstacles, from getting the dozer to stick to fine-tuning the angles for maximum speed and airtime. Despite the challenges, their freestyle approach to building allows for creative solutions—including a massive shark fin that will allow riders to train together in spectacular fashion.

After days of hard work, the quarterpipe is finally taking shape. The final steps include installing the heavy wooden ramp with pinpoint precision, ensuring the perfect angle and stability. With testing on the horizon, the team is eager to see if their vision will come to life as planned.

As a bonus, Darkfest fans have a chance to win £1,000 worth of DeWalt Tools. To enter, viewers must guess the exact height of the quarterpipe landing and comment their answer on the YouTube video.

With the build nearly complete, all eyes are on the first test session. Will this mega feature live up to its expectations? Stay tuned for the first rides and jaw-dropping action as Darkfest 2025 delivers yet another groundbreaking evolution in freeride mountain biking.
