450SX Class: Sexton Shows Dominance, Title Race Intensifies

Sexton led from the front with an aggressive and clinical ride, building a lead of over 10 seconds and grabbing crucial championship points. With just one round remaining, Sexton now sits just nine points behind championship leader Cooper Webb.

“I knew I was faster tonight… I wanted to get out front and break away, and that’s what I did,” said Sexton, after his emphatic win.

Webb, despite battling illness, showed grit to hold on to second place under intense pressure from teammate Justin Cooper, who surged from 12th to finish third – his third podium of the season. The Yamaha duo kept the pressure on Sexton throughout, but the defending champion was untouchable on the night.

250SX West Class: Deegan Seals the Championship With Controversial Pass

In the 250SX Western Divisional race, Haiden Deegan clinched the championship with a bold late-race pass on teammate Cole Davies, who had led for most of the race. The pass, which sent Davies off the track, drew a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd, but ultimately secured the title for Deegan, who now has an unassailable points lead.

“People doubted me all the way… We the champ now, and let’s go, baby!” Deegan said, celebrating his title.

Davies remounted to finish fifth, while Julien Beaumer (Red Bull KTM) took second after fighting from eighth, and Garrett Marchbanks (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) completed the podium.
