Southwick Stunners: Jett Lawrence & Haiden Deegan Deliver Flawless Wins at 2025 Crestview Construction Southwick National
The Pro Motocross Championship roared back into action on 28 June, 2025, with the Crestview Construction Southwick National, delivering one of the most intense and dominant rounds of the season. Set at the legendary sand track of The Wick 338 in Massachusetts, the fifth race of the 2025 summer campaign and Round 22 of the SMX World Championship regular season saw standout performances from Team Honda HRC Progressive’s Jett Lawrence and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Haiden Deegan, both of whom led every lap of their motos en route to commanding victories.
450 Class: Jett Lawrence Untouchable in the Sand
The 450 Class belonged entirely to Jett Lawrence, who went wire-to-wire in both motos for his fifth consecutive overall win and third straight victory at Southwick. The Australian phenom claimed both holeshots and led every lap, besting his brother Hunter Lawrence in both outings.

In Moto 1, Jett established an early gap and maintained it effortlessly, finishing 13.7 seconds ahead of Hunter. Eli Tomac put in a solid charge for third after an intense battle with Jorge Prado and Aaron Plessinger.

Moto 2 mirrored the first as Jett pulled away from Prado and Tomac early. As Prado made a mistake and went down mid-race, Hunter capitalized to move into second again, with Tomac rounding out the podium. Jett’s 20th career 450 Class win ties him with James Stewart for seventh all time and further solidifies his status as the series leader.

Moto 1 saw Deegan take control early after passing teammate Nate Thrasher and never looking back. Levi Kitchen powered into second while Seth Hammaker grabbed a career-best third.

In Moto 2, Deegan passed holeshot winner Tom Vialle quickly and cruised to another dominant win. Hymas and Vialle battled behind him until Hymas made a last-lap mistake, allowing the Frenchman to take second in the moto and overall.
