Greenhill Bike Park, Germany & Sölden, Austria | September 4–13, 2025
The Swatch Nines MTB 2025 has officially wrapped, cementing its place as the longest, largest, and most ambitious edition yet. Over ten days of groundbreaking action, the event shattered the limits of freestyle mountain biking with world’s first tricks, mind-bending combinations, and an atmosphere of pure progression.

With stops at Greenhill Bike Park in Germany and Bike Republic Sölden in Austria, the star-studded lineup included Erik Fedko (GER), Diego Solans Beraud (ESP), Chance Moore (CAN), Dawid Godziek (POL), Kurtis Downs (USA), and many more. Together, they delivered a session that will be remembered as a pivotal moment in MTB history.

The Green Hill Session: Trick Innovation on Big Air
From September 4–6, riders took on the Big Air setup at Green Hill Bikepark, a playground designed for innovation. Within the first hour alone, half a dozen brand-new trick combinations were landed.

Highlights included:
- Erik Fedko – Double Backflip Nohander to Barspin (World’s First)
- Chance Moore – Backflip Whip 360 (World’s First)
- Kurtis Downs – Backflip SuperIndy Air to Heelclicker to Superman (a triple-threat never-before-seen trick)

By the end of the three-day session, the trick book had been rewritten. The public day on September 6 drew more than a thousand MTB fans, who witnessed history unfold live on the slopes.
“It was absolutely mind-blowing. The energy was insane. Everyone had goals, and we just fed off one another. Every run brought something the sport had never seen before.”

The Sölden Session: Expanding the Playground
Following the German showcase, the action shifted south to Austria’s Bike Republic Sölden. Here, the setup expanded into full freeride and slopestyle lines with a skatepark at the base—welcoming BMX and skateboarding athletes into the mix.

Across six adrenaline-packed days, the riders continued to push boundaries:
- Dawid Godziek landed a Cashroll Windshield Wiper
- Alma Wiggberg of Sweden nailed a Backflip Barspin to One Foot Can
- Chance Moore pulled off a Backflip Tailwhip over a 60-foot freeride jump, a feat that stunned even the world’s best MTB riders

The session concluded with two public shows, including a spectacular night shoot on September 12 that lit up the Austrian Alps with a fusion of lights, music, and gravity-defying performances.

A Defining Moment for Mountain Biking
From world’s first combos to monumental crowd energy, Swatch Nines MTB 2025 was more than just an event—it was a showcase of the sport’s future. Erik Fedko’s world-first trick and Chance Moore’s 60-foot freeride stunt were standout moments, but the collective energy and relentless progression defined this year’s edition.

As the dust settles, one thing is clear: the 2025 Swatch Nines MTB has pushed the sport into uncharted territory, setting new standards that riders around the globe will be chasing for years to come.
