R02: Canadian GP – Tomac vs. Roczen: Results & Power Rankings
The FIM World Supercross Championship delivered another high-octane weekend as the series touched down in Vancouver for the Canadian GP, and all eyes were on reigning champion Eli Tomac as he debuted with his new KTM team. The result? Pure dominance.
Tomac, who parted ways with Yamaha ahead of the season, wasted no time proving he’s still the man to beat. In front of an electrified BC Place crowd, the 33-year-old put on a masterclass, holding off title rival Ken Roczen and a fast-improving Jason Anderson to claim victory.
Below, we break down the drama, rider reactions, and full SX1 Power Rankings.
⭐ Tomac Triumphs on KTM Debut
Eli Tomac couldn’t have asked for a better start to life in orange.

From the opening laps, Tomac looked comfortable, confident, and in complete sync with his KTM 450 SX-F. Despite pressure from Roczen and Anderson, he maintained composure on a track described as both “treacherous” and “technical”.

Jason Anderson celebrated his first podium of the season—and his first on the Suzuki RM-Z450 for Pipes Motorsport Group.
He admitted to a slow start to the day but found his rhythm when it mattered.
“I am still getting the hang of the motorcycle.… I just wanted to keep the ball rolling.”
