McLaren Racing and PUMA Unite on Performance and Style in New Multi-Year Team Kit and Apparel Partnership from 2026
Global sportswear leader PUMA and McLaren Racing have announced a multi-year global partnership set to begin in 2026, bringing together two high-performance brands driven by innovation, community, and a shared passion for pushing boundaries. The collaboration marks a significant moment in motorsport fashion and fan engagement, aiming to bring supporters closer to the thrill and spirit of racing.

As part of the partnership, PUMA will become the official provider of team kit and apparel, delivering elite performance wear where it matters most. The agreement spans the entire McLaren Racing portfolio, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, both McLaren Racing entries in F1 Academy, the McLaren F1 Sim Racing Team, and from 2027, the McLaren United AS WEC Hypercar Team.

Arthur Hoeld, CEO of PUMA, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, stating that the brand’s deep-rooted motorsport heritage makes McLaren Racing a natural partner. He noted that welcoming the 2025 Constructors’ and Drivers’ Champions into the PUMA family represents an exciting new chapter, with a strong focus on performance, innovation, and engaging passionate fans worldwide through inspiring collections.

Central to the partnership is the Replica Collection, designed around McLaren Racing’s iconic papaya colourway. Mirroring the official apparel worn by drivers and team members at the track, the collection is built for fans who want to show their allegiance boldly and confidently, embracing McLaren’s “Race Louder” spirit wherever they go.

Complementing this is the Lifestyle Collection, created for fans who live and breathe speed both on and off the circuit. Drawing inspiration from McLaren Racing’s rich motorsport heritage, the range fuses classic racing influences with contemporary streetwear design, blending iconic silhouettes with modern aesthetics.

Beyond apparel, the partnership promises immersive fan experiences that go beyond the racetrack. Through special events, exclusive drops, and unique activations, PUMA and McLaren Racing aim to bring the exhilaration of racing to life in new and unexpected ways. The first of these experiences is set to debut at the opening race of the Formula 1 season in Australia, with further details to be revealed.

Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, emphasised the growing crossover between motorsport, fashion, and lifestyle, noting that PUMA’s innovative approach to design and culture makes them the ideal partner to elevate McLaren’s fanwear offerings. He added that the collaboration will allow fans to express their passion for the team both at the track and in everyday life.

The McLaren Racing x PUMA collection will be available from February at PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores, and selected retailers worldwide.
