The 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship delivered another thrilling chapter at the iconic High Point Raceway in Pennsylvania as Round 21 of the Pro Motocross Championship saw standout performances from Hunter Lawrence and Cole Davies.

Under sunny skies at the famed “Country Club of Motocross,” Honda HRC Progressive’s Hunter Lawrence produced a flawless ride to secure his second 450SMX victory of the season, while Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cole Davies celebrated a career milestone by earning his first-ever Pro Motocross overall victory in the 250SMX Class.

Honda HRC Progressive’s Hunter Lawrence captured his second win of the season with a dominant sweep of the motos.

Hunter Lawrence Dominates the 450SMX Class

Championship leader Jett Lawrence was the fastest rider in qualifying, edging his older brother Hunter and KTM’s Jorge Prado for pole position.

However, when the gates dropped, it was Hunter Lawrence who stole the show.

The first 450SMX Class moto began in front of a massive crowd as Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot and carried on to a dominant wire-to-wire victory.

Moto 1

Hunter grabbed control early and quickly built a commanding lead while Jett fought his way through the field from an 11th-place start. Despite an impressive charge into second place, Jett had no answer for his brother’s pace as Hunter cruised to victory by 11.6 seconds.

Jorge Prado completed the podium in third, followed by Haiden Deegan and Garrett Marchbanks.

The Lawrence brothers started the second moto out front, with Hunter [#96] able to get the edge on Jett [#1] and complete the 1-1 moto sweep.

Moto 2

The Lawrence brothers once again led the field into the opening turns, with Hunter taking the holeshot and immediately asserting his authority.

Jett attempted to keep pace, but Hunter steadily increased his advantage throughout the race. Behind them, Deegan continued to impress by moving into third and applying late pressure on Jett.

Hunter ultimately completed a perfect 1-1 sweep, crossing the line 4.9 seconds ahead of Jett, with Deegan securing another podium finish.

The 250SMX division produced another memorable weekend as New Zealand’s Cole Davies finally converted his speed into victory.

Davies topped both qualifying sessions and carried that momentum into race day.

Casey Cochran [#59] opened the first moto with the holeshot and early lead, but in the end it was Cole Davies [#37] who came away with the win.
