Val di Sole, Italy – Canada’s Jackson Goldstone made history on the legendary Black Snake course in Val di Sole, securing his third consecutive Men’s Elite Downhill World Cup victory of the 2025 season. In the Women’s Elite race, France’s Marine Cabirou put in a gritty performance to take her 10th career World Cup win, holding off Austrian star Vali Höll, who now leads the overall series standings.

Goldstone Makes it Three for Three in 2025
The 21-year-old Canadian phenom dominated the weekend from start to finish, topping timed training, qualifying, and the final to complete a perfect weekend in Italy. Goldstone’s final run of 3:38.86 put him 2.422 seconds ahead of Australian veteran Troy Brosnan, with Frenchman Thibaut Daprela claiming third—despite riding without a chain.
